Senior Drama for School Years 7, 8 and 9

Senior drama participants start to develop their own style, using their skills to create work and explore different approaches to theatre. Young people start to take ownership of the content of pieces much more, applying their ideas and understanding of theatre. They continue to develop their theatre skills, and grow in confidence as performers.

Senior Dance
Monday 6:30pm – 7:30pm

A fast paced, exciting and challenging street dance session for young people who want to learn street dance routines from current music videos and films. The workshop will work on developing rhythm, timing and performance skills, so come along and throw some shapes! If you are interested in taking your dance training to the next level then this workshop is for you. Young people will work intensively over the term on a dance piece that fuses street dance with elements from other different dance styles.

Senior Connect:

Performing arts project for young people with disabilities and learning difficulties  Ages 12-25

Wednesday 6:30pm – 7:30pm

Supported by the Burnley Children’s Trust

Over ten weeks the group will work with two professional practitioners to create a new and exciting performance piece combining movement, drama, voice, music and lighting.  Places are limited to 12 young people so please book on to secure your place. 

For children with complex health needs, a parent or support worker must accompany them to all sessions
