Burnley Youth Theatre is situated next to Queens Park in Burnley. Our mission is to creatively inspire young people to take their next step in the arts.

We provide access for young people to theatre, drama and the performing arts across Burnley and beyond. BYT has a reputation for creating dynamic, inspiring and original work, covering classic theatre as well as devised and original shows. BYT works with 5 - 25 year olds in our purpose-built space (the first purpose-built youth theatre in the UK, opened in 2005.)

BYT also works with a range of young people in outreach settings and is at the forefront of community cohesion work in Burnley.
